Today we found this adorable little critter resting on the concrete under our wood pile!
By the way.. A small wood pile is a really great way to encourage insects into your garden, which in turn provides a convenient buffet for Frogs, Birds, Hedgehogs and more.
We believe our little critter is a Heart & Dart (Agrotis exclamationis) More info here: Heart & Dart - UK Moths
They might be relatively common, but we think they are really cool!
