About our stock
Jamm21 Ltd provides stock in a few different ways so here's a little bit about how it all works…
New - We can source new products with manufacturer warranties from several of our partners.
Manufacturer Refurbished - We buy this directly from Dell without warranty - any warranty on these products will be provided by Jamm21 Ltd. It is worth noting that Dell doesn't actually do any refurbishment - the stock is usually from cancelled orders or change of mind returns and therefore has had very little or no usage at all. This stock often comes to us still sealed in its original retail box but occasionally Dell will re-box the items for data protection purposes when the retail box has had shipping labels attached and so cannot be reused; these boxes are a generic brown box with a Dell logo.
Renewed - This is stock that has been through a comprehensive renewal process with one of our partners. It will have been exhaustively tested to ensure that it performs as it would have done when new, Any key components that did not pass these tests will have been replaced. The exterior surfaces will have been refreshed and the keyboard and palm rest refinished. It will be supplied to you in a new box that is constructed entirely from recycled cardboard and is supplied with a 12 months parts and labour warranty to give you complete peace of mind.
Seller Refurbished - This is stock that has been repaired or refurbished by our in-house engineers. It will be listed with any scratches, nicks and scuffs clearly described in the listing and shown in the images allowing our customers to make an informed decision about whether or not they wish to purchase it. It will be listed at a reduced rate that fairly reflects the item’s flaws.
